The Douglas C-47 Plane Wreck

Once located on the coast of Tekirova, this historic Douglas C-47 military aircraft - a true legend of 20th-century aviation - served in World War II and numerous regional conflicts.

On September 14th, 2013, the plane was intentionally sunk near the renowned Three Islands dive site. It now rests at a depth of 25 to 30 meters and has quickly become a popular attraction for certified divers.

Due to its depth, only divers with an international certification are allowed to visit the wreck. However, if you're not yet certified, don't worry - you can obtain your diving license by enrolling in one of our courses at Diving Kemer and explore this fascinating piece of history yourself.
