Deep Reef - One of the Richest Sites in Three Islands
Among the many dive spots at Three Islands (Üç Adalar), this particular reef stands out as one of the most abundant and diverse. In addition to the coastal reefs, another impressive reef formation begins at a depth of 15 metres and extends all the way down to 55 metres - offering an incredible range for exploration.
However, divers don’t need to descend to the deepest points to enjoy the experience. On the north-west side of the reef lies a stunning wall that drops to around 30 metres, providing plenty to discover even at moderate depths.
The site teems with marine life. Along the reef edges, divers are likely to encounter large schools of white groupers and dusky groupers. Depending on the season, you may also spot bullet tuna, dentex, and leerfish moving through the currents in shimmering shoals.
This vibrant reef is a must-see for divers looking to witness the full spectrum of Mediterranean marine biodiversity in a single dive.
